Hello,
My grandfather served as a paratrooper in the French Army during the Algerian war and he told me the other day that his first jump was out of a Junkers JU-52. Does anyone have any good reference materials for such an aircraft? I would like to build one for his birthday that is coming up and I'd appreciate any help you guys have.
Thanks,
Wesley

In French Air Force service, the Ju 52 was called the AAC 1 Toucan. Most of them were overall silver paint with black anti-glare panels. Here's a die-cast model showing the colours

I am building an Italeri 1/72 JU 52.
It is a nice kit, but a little old so not exactly state of the art, although you would have no trouble putting it together.
I have seen build ups of Revell's 1/48 version and it looks to be very good.
Good luck.
