I'm in need of some help with this colour on US Aircraft and bombs .
I'm thinking I can mix Tamiya Dark Green with a touch of Titanium Gold ...

Hi Terri,
I hope someone can provide you a mixture. I would try mixing with green and a touch of copper. The Royal Army used a color called, or similar to, bronze green for their AFVs. See Humbrol 75 Bronze Green Matt; it is also available as acrylic.

OK, I hate to send you elsewhere but here's the question:
Here's an article that explores bronze green: http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/magazine/2004/01/stuff_eng_interior_colours_us.htm
This lists paints:

US Bronze Green is close to FS 34052. White Ensign also has the color in their line up as well.

Humbrol 75 seems to me to be an acceptable match for FS 34052. I used it in the cockpit of an F4F-3 kit I made (1/48 Tamiya plus Just Plane Stuff mod) and it sure "looked like" the bronze green discussed at the IPMS Stockholm site. I am currently using it in a 1/48 B-17F build in the forward cockpit areas. Gets the job done.
