I just received a set of each in 1/48 and 1/32, and they really look amazing. They're made of some kind of metal, but, because of their intricate detail appear to be 3-D printed. http://www.gaspatchmodels.com/products/metal-turnbuckles-32.html
I ordered mine direct from Gas Patch (Greece) because it was a little cheaper than ordering from US, and actually arrived quickly.

Hi there
Could you write a review?
I ordered Gas Patch's Salmson direct and was equally impressed by their price and quick turnaround.
All the best

There's no need to add anything to the above News Item, except that they are every bit as impressive as claimed, and are probably the ultimate in scale turnbuckles. They are a little rough in texture (more like concentric rings) which gives me the impression that they are somehow 3-D printed, even though they are metal. But this texture is really only visible through a magnifying glass, and a thin coat of paint will hide it even more.
