How can you say that on the basis of one month?
Rowan, far be it for me to question you as editor, but I respectfully submit this is not a one-month trend. I only build 32-scale aircraft, and have been watching this for at least a year. When was the last time Hase released a
new-tool 32-scale kit?

I'm tempted to say "Twoddle" anyway... at least that's my take when I look at the no-nonsense Hasegawa releases that market for a fraction of the cost of Tamiya.
I agree their kits are cheaper than those of Tamiya or even Trumpeter, but in terms of value for money, again, they're lagging. Look at Revell of Germany with multiple large scale kits released in the past year (I count 1 109, 2 Ju-88s, 2 HE-111s, the Arado floatplane, and very shortly a Spitfire Mk. II, and there are others I've overlooked).
It's surprising (to me at least) that the company who more or less invented the category has IMO abandoned it.
