Hello,

I am just thinking ahead on a couple of kits I would like to purchase at some point.

I was wondering from the different stand points of Accuracy, Quality, and Easy to build.

What is the best options for the following 1/48 scale WW2 Aircraft?

- U.S. Douglas SBD Dauntless
- U.S. Curtis SB2C Helldiver
- U.S. Chance-Vought F4U Corsair (USMC)

Just want to keep an eye out for the best kit when I am looking.

Thanks for any advice.

Hi Spence

F4U-1 (A/D): Tamiya

Helldiver: Revell/Monogram/Promodeller same model but I am not sure which include the Flaps PE (maybe all?). See Chucks beautiful superdetailed build: https://aeroscale.kitmaker.net/forums/109919&ord=&page=1 (he used the Accurate Miniatures Boxing .. again same mould)

Dauntless no idea which is best, Maybe the Italeri boxing of the AccMin kit...

In the US the Promodeller boxing might be easiest to get
