I want to build an F-86 Sabre and have a refueling truck beside it, and I was wondering if Tamiya's new refueling truck would work for a Korean war setting.. same question goes for Tamiya's WWII jeep.. was it still used as such during the Korean war.. and can I use it next to the Sabre?
Thanks for any help I can get

Just quickly paging through the book 'Mustangs Over Korea', I can find at least 1 photo of the fuel truck, and 3 photo's of the jeep being used on Korean airfields.
So, I'd say yes, they were used in Korea. At least in the early war.
Hope that helps

Hi Hisham,
FWIW the WW2 jeep was used into the 1970s with USAF.
I couldn't find them but I am 99% sure that this fuel truck survived at some bases into the 1960s. By then, though, thirsty jets with huge fuel tanks necessitated bigger gas trucks. I've seen pix of F-89s being fueled by semi-tankers.
