Hi,
Does anybody know what colors were the RAF ground crew uniform/coveralls were during WW2?
I saw a black and white photo of a bunch of mechanics standing in front of a liberator. Some were wearing short pants and shirts that were lighter in color which I'm assuming is some sort of tan color. There were also some that we're wearing coveralls that were of a darker shade. One of the guys here suggested that they were olive drab, but I can't find a single instance of RAF crew in this color anywhere on the internet. I can only find crews wearing the blue colored uniforms and some in tan colors.
Any help would be much appreciated.
