Hi Gang, I`ve just bought this kit and was wondering if there was any aftermarket stuff for it ?.
I ask as because as much as I love Mr. T`s stuff I can`t afford his prices but I CAN scrape together a few quid for some photo-etch and with a little bit of scratch building build something I`m happy with.

Verlinen made a cockpit and I don't know why you could not use sets designed for the trumpeter kit. The cockpit though needs a complete redo in any regard as I believe the kit cockpit has a floor which is only correct for F4u-4 and latter.

One more thought if you add up the cost of PE and the kit you would only be around $30 off the Tamiya kit if you built it straight from the box and hunt for a deal such as on ebay. At some point someone always throws one up for auction cheap to get a quick sale.
