Hello,
I am looking for an online reference that will help me decide how to paint some various WW2 aircraft that I want to build. I would like to be able to show a variety of the different paint schemes used from prewar to the end of WW2.
I have found some stuff here and there.
But, is there an online reference for the different color/camo schemes used by the US during WW2 on various different military aircraft?
One that will let me know which color schemes (gray/two tone/three tone) were used on the different models of aircraft within the different branches of service (USN, USMC, USAF)
Thanks for any advice.
I would also love to get some good book references as well. So if you have a favorite reference. Please let me know those as well.
