Still waiting to get my correction parts for the F-15B/D fail.
Seen the parts up close and it looks like GW fixed the nose and forward fuselage major shape errors and touched up the upper fuselage engine bulges, which really weren't all that bad. From the CAD Renderings, the speed brake well still has that erroneous cavity or well. Personally, I don’t think the speed brake well is that big a deal as the speed brake is pretty much always down; like 99% of the time. Seeing the speed brake displayed “open” on built F-15 models in the standard or static configuration looks ridiculous; especially to a maintainer.
Note that the GW did not fix all the major inaccuracies with the B/D kit. F-15C kits will carry over the way too narrow intake ducts, over scaled seats (Both the ESCAPAC and ACES II look horrible anyways) most inaccurate Engine IGVs / Fans, too long Exhaust Nozzles, and too long aft booms. The tire flats were fixed, but they distorted the tires doing it, so the wheels are still bad. More accurate wheel of both types will be out soon anyways.
Not sure if it trump Hasegawa totally, and also there’s the absorbent asking price.
