Cool. What is the A/C version and how is it different from the other kit?

Exactly what it says - it's the air-conditioned version. Hence "cool".

The F-104A was the original and the F-104C was the first upgraded variant, with a bigger engine and more stores capacity. The main visual difference from the later versions (more stores again, even bigger engine) is that the fin has a shorter chord - although there are a lot of details that are hopefully represented too.

NOW we're talking "Zipper"! I've been waiting for a new big USAF Starfighter kit.

Hmmm, kooks like a bit of sink marks on the front Vulcan access panel. Still, the main question: camo or NMF?

I'm interested in building one myself. And like Fred, I'm not sure which way to go to finish it.

I think the Luftwaffe version of the 104 is the coolest somehow.
