Here is my latest 109, no its not the new Eduard kit instead its the now very old Revell Bf 109G-10.

The model was built SFTB and painted with Model Master enamels.
Since the kit was so old the decals had started to turn brown and crack and I had to rely on decal scraps from my spares box for the markings, I painted and marked my model as a Bf 109G-14/AS of 2./JG 52 as pictured in the JaPo book titled ''Messerschmitt Bf 109s of JG 52 in Deutsch Brod''.
The Revell Bf 109G-10 kit worked well for making a model of a Bf 109G-14/AS since the two types were externally similar.

Hi Les, awesome...again and the diorama and the pictures too.
You have built your own airstrip, the picture in sepia is very realistic.
Will you do a Eduard Gustav ?

Les,
Another one in the books. Your paint, decaling, and weathering are near on perfect. As usual, your one sepia picture really makes your model look like the real deal.

I'm still trying to figure out if your photographic technique with your diorama, as the lighting certainly looks like it was taken outside on a bright day, or do you just use one main light source from the side?

Thanks guys!

Joel,
I take all my pictures (including in-progress pics) outdoors, I feel outdoor photography is the better way to go since most photographs of WWII era aircraft were done in that way...models should be no different.
Since I live in a very wet climate I sometimes have to wait for nice weather to be able to get pictures of my models but the wait is worth it.

The model looks really beautiful. As do the pictures themselves.

Thank you Carlos!

Taking pictures of my built models is almost as much fun as building them, in that way I feel lucky for having two hobbies in one.
