That's a beautiful and clean paint job. It's a shame that the decals are silvering on you. Did you use a gloss coat before decalling?

Thanks Jess. Yes I did use the gloss coat (Future) before decalling. May be I did not wait long enough for it to settle down ?

Sometimes you can stop silvering by putting the decals onto a little puddle of wet Future. When it dries, all the little cavities under the decal will be filled.

I have had some luck with silvering putting small holes in the decals on the model with a pin and putting micro sol or set over the decals with a brush. Sometimes it seeps in and eliminates the silvering.

Thank you guys. I'll have to try poking some small holes in it and apply more Micro Sol stuff.

Great looking Arado! The paint job is what makes this model outstanding, the colors look very good too.
Yes its a shame about the silvering on some of the decals but that has been my experience too when using Revell decals...and that was using them with Future. Revell decals can be hit or miss even with a high gloss model surface and using Future to secure the decals.

Thanks Les.
Yes it seems not all Revell decals behaving the same way. I also built a second Arado but did not seem to have the silvering on the decals . Oh well at least the kit did not cost me too much.

I hate to sound repetitive, but I like the paint scheme a lot as well. You did a great job of it. Luft '46 is one of my favorite genres, and you did a first class job on this one. Congrats.
Cheers,
Mike
