Nice kits but simply 'Old wine in new bottles to be sold at vintage prices' - here in the UK anyway.

Again, nothing in 1/32nd scale. Curious.

Haven't built nor bought a Hasegawa kit in years. Mostly re-issues, while the other kit makers just leave them in the dust. My LHS has more old, yellowing Hasegawa kits on his selves then any other manufacture by a wide margine. Not exactly the business model he would like.

Nothing new, but older kits in a new box and probably more
expensive, than their last issue !
Their prices are mostly beyond my budget, this is my private view.
Since monday i ve got a business license for my very own online
modelling shop and i don´t plan to have much of Hasegawa products in my product range. They have great kits in their
line, but.....

Still, there are a couple of subjects that caught my eye: J-7 (I like Red China's camouflage) and the Genda "George".

Agree wholeheartedly with the "old wine" etc. I don,t buy Hasegawa (new) anymore either.

Hi all
Like Fred, the "George" definitely catches my eye. It's odd, though, the talk of yellowing Hasegawa boxes on the LHS shelves in the US - I've probably bought three or four Hasegawa kits for every Tamiya one over the years. Maybe that's down to the traditionally eye-watering UK Tamiya prices compared with Hasegawa.
Hasegawa look to have a great all-new 1:72 Su-35 on the way. The mystery for me will always be why they didn't steal a lead on Wingnut Wings and release their Sopwith Camel in 1:32.
After all that research for the cutaway 1:16 kit, I'll always think they could have sold a conventional 1:32 version by the container-ship-load...
All the best
