Darren Baker brings to the Fleet Air Arm Museum's Carrier Deck display once more, this time to look at the Royal Navy's first jet aircraft. This is not a representative "first jet", it is quite literally the very first jet aircraft operated by the Royal Navy on an aircraft carrier. This aircraft was the first jet in the world to land on, and take off from a ship on December 3rd, 1945, piloted by the greatest test pilot in the world, (then) LCdr Eric Brown.
