Hi everyone
It's something I've talked about doing for years and never got 'round to, but I'm finally going to take a sabbatical from the day-to-day admin side of things to give me a chance to catch up with my own stuff.
So, starting tomorrow, I won't be around as much for a month or two. Needless to say, I won't be doing a total disappearing act - for one thing, I have masses of Reviews to publish! - but I will set an auto-reply for my e-mails with links to submitting material:
News: [email protected]
Reviews: [email protected]
and
Features: [email protected]
I'll continue to check my e-mails and PMs, but probably not on a daily basis as usual, so please be patient waiting for a reply. Alternatively, you can always contact the AeroStaffers or Staff_Jim if it's urgent.
Many thanks, and here's to coming back refreshed and ready to actually build again!
All the best
Rowan

Finally!
Rowan, you deserve some time off and I wish you all the best for the this! Maybe you will even be able to build a bit... Do not spend too much time on reviews but try to find some energy and motivation!
take care my friend

I would agree that some time off makes sense, especially with family and if you have a "day job." When the hobby itself becomes work, burn-out is never too far behind!
Take advantage of your reduced schedule!

Sabatical, bach, I am on a forced sabatical thanks to house renovation work. It appears I am doing nothing else but making concrete this year
Enjoy the break Rowan, and really do "something else" otherwise it does not make a lot o sense

Cheers everyone
Fear not, my intention is definitely to get back to building properly again once I've caught up with everything and have some breathing space.
All the best

Rowan,
You'll be missed. But as you said you need the time away from your daily admin duties to complete an untold number of reviews, and even rekindle your modeling techniques and skills. Looking forward to your return.
