Thanks for the link. When you look at the pictures of the wreck that they started with, it's just amazing that they even got it rebuilt to a restored condition, yet alone in an air worthy state.

Especially since the wreck (pictures) they started with was a Yak, not a MiG-3

Tongue firmly out of cheek, it's most likely that the MiG was in the workshop long before the Yak was pulled out of the lake.
