On an earlier post, I was told that the F-100 in Vietnam carried usually two MK 77 napalm bombs plus 2 general purpose bombs. What would these be? Either MK 82 low drag 500 lb bombs or MK 82 high drag Snake eyes again 500 pound bombs. As always appreciate the help.

Huns commonly used M117 bombs in Vietnam. Cutting Edge had a set which is apparently still available in places.

Thanks for the info on the M117. I doubt if I'll find any Cutting Edge stuff since they vanished from the scene a while back. I will check though. I wonder if they ever used the low drag M 82's.

The F-100 would have used anything they could get hold of, really. There were more or less standard loads but occasional supply problems meant that others were equally likely. I've seen pictures of an F-100 with two tanks and one Mk.82 on each of the other pylons, for example.
For M117s in 1/32 you might want to cultivate someone who has a Trumpeter F-105. There's a horde of the things in the box.
