(originally posted to General Modeling forum by mistake - figure I might get more of a response in a more specific forum)
I'm close to having my Academy 1/48 F-111 all set to build, but the canopy remains a problem. From what I've read, the profile of the kit parts is wrong. Now I know OzMods does a replacement set, made by Falcon, that includes two each of both a closed canopy and one suitable for being posed open. However, it seems to be almost permanently out of stock everywhere except OzMods themselves - if it wasn't, I'd have added it to my order from BNA Modelworld that, when it arrives, means I'm good to go. They list it, but it seems perpetually OOS, while the price from OzMods is sky-high vs the cost from BNA.
Now I know Squadron does one for the Academy kit, but does anybody know if the profile is correct? I can live with the closed canopy if it means being able to get the last aftermarket bit I need more easily.

Falcon does the Squadron canopies, so I'd expect them to be one and the same.
