My grandfather taught me how to build models when I was a kid so after he passed I thought building his favorite plane would serve a fitting homage to him, the FW-190D of the Papageistaffel. I built the little one on the left and he built the larger one on the right many years ago. The vial in the center is filled with his ashes. On my plane you can see his dog Lai-De who is now my dog. He also loved the Deathhead, especially the Jolly Roger which is why the flag is there. Enjoy! Criticism and advice is always welcome!

Mark, that's wonderful. thanks for sharing. Lots of great detail. The model looks fine, I always like to see open doors. The Jolly Roger flag is interesting. My eye is drawn especially to the lumber wheel pads, I can use that.
hope to see more of your work!
