Hi Folks!
I have not visited this forum for ages. I've done some modeling, tho, so there are some new pics on my web site at

Mikko,
Your completed models are all quite spectacular. Simply an outstanding collection of WW1 aircraft.

Mikko,
Great models! I can only hope to someday make a model to your standard.
Top Albatros: Lt. Hans Böhning?
I've always liked the Ansaldo.
Is that a Sopwith Tabloid? How did you replicate the hammered metal of the cowling?
I think I see the Airfix Hanover CL.IIIa.

The Bavarian Albatros D.V was flown by Lt. Wolf, Jasta 5
I painted the Tabloid cowling like this: First a layer of Citadel Leadbelcher (Boltgun Metal) and then I tapped on some Citadel Chainmail through mosquito net with a semi dry brush.
Yes, it is the good old Airfix Hannover built OOB!
