I finished my display cabinet for the living room. Eventually I will bridge it over the aquarium to another set of bookshelves to turn the entire wall into a series of connected shelves and cabinets. I wired each shelf with 3 LED diodes to illuminate the models. They can all be turned on/off together or shelf by shelf if I want. It should hold about eighteen 1/48th scale fighters or smaller twin engined planes. The bombers will have to stay upstairs in my office display.

That looks really good. I'm in the process of designing one for my expanding model display space. I just replaced two wall bathroom mirrors that I plan to re use as the cabinet back wall.
