Sometimes an airplane is built in spite of sound aerodynamic laws. Sometimes those airplanes actually fly. Sometimes sanity breaks out before the damage can be done. Regardless, making a model of the wilder flights of aviation designers' fancy can be a relaxing break from reality.

What a beautiful build of a real monstrosity! It breaks every "if it looks right, it'll fly well rule", but you can see the logic behind it; it offered the pilot an unparalleled field of forward view in a tractor triplane. On paper, it probably looked a potential winner...
