Hi all,
I need a little advice please,
I just masked and painted my corsair cockpit parts and they came out great!!
Only thing is that the masks on the outside and the tape I used on the underside has left the clear parts a little filmy. What is the best way of cleaning these parts, especially without damaging my paint on the framework?
Thanks all...the corsair is getting close to done and will have pics before long.
Good modeling,
Wayne

oops..
I forgot to mention which probably might matter is that I used MM enamel and not acrylics.
I am sure this could probably make a difference.
Thanks again

:-) Hi Wayne,
If it's the sticky residue from the tape I find the best way to remove it, is to take a piece of the same tape, hold it staicky side out and dab at the residue. At first not much will happen, but keep at it and the tape will start "pulling" at the residue. It will soon start to pick it up, as more is picked up the process seams to get better. What ever you do don't try and clean it off with white spirit, that will fog the clear plastic. Apparently WD40 works well, certainly on the residue left by Bare Metal Foil. This problem is one of the reasons I maske with Parafilm-M.
