Can't say I remember this kit, but there were plenty of kits like it when I was a kid. Bright boxes with exciting graphics. The littered the shelves at The TG&Y, Kreskys, Kress, WT Grant stores when I was a kid.

Another goldie oldie from the past. You're making me feel even older then I am.
This kit I kind of remember. like all kits from back then, they were easy to build, and from my faintest memories, looked pretty darn good when finished.
