I dont believe this kit is available in 48th, but I have the Trumpy A3d Skywarrior. HOw hard would that be to semi convert. Looking at some stuff (I have a 72 B66) the canopy is different. and could be changed by paint (looking to make a close duplicate not exact). Looks like teh fuselage is same. How about engine nacelles? Is it possible there is a conversion kit out there?

Ive thought of this myself. The engines are different, bigger and longer, but they are simple cigar shapes should be easy to fabricate.

The aft end of the cockpit glass needs a fairing to make it solid to the run of the fuselage. a bit of sculpting with some Miliput, that could be made quite convincing.

I think the B-66 snout is shorter and blunter than the Skywarrior's. but there were various mods and versions of both.

Your biggest problem will be the wings. The Whale has straight trailing edges while the B-66 has a strongly kinked trailing edge which begins right about at the engine pylon.

Compare the B-66

thank you both for info. Yes the wings are radically different. anyone know if Trumpy ( or anyone else for that matter) is considering the b66
