Hi, like in my last posting on the A-10 thunderbolt II,I have the Monogram 1/72nd A-10 Thunderbolt II that a friend of mine gave me. It has the normal dark green plastic with the raised panel lines, typical of the 80's kits. My question to you guys is; 1. Can anyone of you tell me what conversion/detailed sets I would need to make this so called out dated kit look presentable? 2.Also would it be worth it to do such a task? Thank you

Replied to your previous post; same info below:

There are some 72nd A-10 AM options out there, though most are geared towards the more popular Italeri kit.

Olimp update set, with some GBUs, Targeting Pod, Wheel well sponson CHAFF/Flare Banks, and some of the LASTE antennas. It's quite pricey for what you get:

Modern hobbies has an A-10C cockpit and update set:

Quickboost makes Engine inlets, though I don't recommend them as first off, they're copies of the HobbyBoss A-10 fans, and secondly they're terribly inaccurate.

Accurate 72nd A-10 Engine Fans/Inlets and wheels will be coming out in 1st quarter 2015.

I'd like to see more stuff in 72nd for the A-10.
