This is a 1/72 scale Frog Gloster Gladiator Mk II kit someone gave me years ago. This is my first attempt to complete a model in 45 year (I was a teenager when I quit building) I never had all the fancy tools and paints, so I am just learning how to do this really.
The top wing is not attached yet. I'm not sure whether I should try to install the cabane struts before glueing the struts to the bottom wing.

Hi Marc,
That looks good
Not one who has build many Bi-planes but I would try taping the top wing to the struts, then dry fit the cabane struts. If you can't get them in then try fitting them first but use white glue. Then position the top wing before the white glue goes off and they will be still flexible so you can see if they will go into position. If they fit then you can just glue the wing struts and the upper position of the cabane struts, don't worry about the white glue in the bottom fixings of the cabane struts, it will dry strong enough for the joint. If the cabane struts do not fit then you will be able to remove and trim them to fit. I hope that makes sens?

Howdy Marc, nice looking paint job, you are off to a good start.
I'm a big fan of the old FROG models.

Mark,
Welcome back to the hobby, and to Aeroscale.
From your pictures of the 1/72 Frog Gloster Gladiator Mk II, it sure looks like you're doing an excellent job.

Hai,
I was "absent " for about 10 years myself but am enjoying the fumes of glue and enamel paint again since several years now and addiction is growing.
You will find that technically, an awfull lot has eveolved the last 40 years but the essence remains the same, just have fun buildign models.
