Initially, the set was variant F-4c / d I updated to represent a version specifically J. All details have been re-mapped

The model was completed in 2009 and at that time there were options for F-4J accurate wheels. The main ones provided in the kit are mounted only temporary and will be replaced by Eduard Brassin in the very near future, with exhaust cans.
This model was introduced to modeling various shows in my country Romania. The photos were taken at shows or in the window at home.

The Be-Devilers are the longest serving Phantom unit in the U.S. Navy, 20 years of service with the F-4!

Great Phantom!

But what is that room it sits in...don't tell me you've got a whole room to fill...with no wife having other ideas?

I'm jealous;-)

Lucian,

Superb! Some of the best weathering I've seen on a modern jet!

Lucian,
An absolutely outstanding conversion of the Monogram F4-C/D to a F-4J. Simply an outstanding paint scheme with just the right amount of weathering for that "used but not abused" look of an operational aircraft. Your NMF for the exhaust area is extremely well done.

Great build, Lucian! Outstanding weathering and attention to detail.

I am also curious what room that is? Almost has a museum feel to it.

Jesper

This model was presented at various shows modeling of Romania, together with his colleague 4j F-VF-191hasegawa. Photos were taken at shows or in their window at home. Both F-4 were completed in 2010 after a year of work.
