Hello, A few years back I purchased Trumpeters 1/32 F4U4 kit and the decals (Kill Markings) for the Walsh WWII version were blacked out. I guess they are banned wherever this kit was imported ??? I'd like to know and I looked on line without success for replacement or another option for WWII markings. Any Ideas? Thanks

WW2 F4U-4 decals are very hard to find in 32 scale, if it all. I don't know if you are deadset on WW2 decals, but Amazon carries the Superscale Dash-4 sheets for the "Ghost Riders" and "Polka Dots" which are Korean War era, in 32 scale. I was in the same predicament as you and ended up getting the Superscale sheet for my Corsair.
Best wishes,
Ian

Ian, Thanks for the feedback. I think I'm going to go with the Korean War variant, after all they are more colorful!

Do you have a photo showing the kill markings?

Kitsworld makes a sheet of miscellaneous "kill" markings. The sheet has 1/32, 1/48, and 1/72 WWII markings for various flags. If all you wanted to replace were the kill flags you could go that route.
They are listed as "Other" under the 1/48 menu on their website.

Thanks for info!Still would need to replace the Squadron number "13" also. Walsh Kill Flags were painted over the "13" Think I'll just go with the Korean War Version the more I think about it.

There is a slight possibility that I could cut these as a mask, but I would need to know the size?
