Hi all, just looking for some info on my dad's old collection of a/c and a few ships models. Not sure if I should continue his work and actually build them. Any help is appreciated.

Do you want to build models?
Nothing wrong with building vintage kits. They can be fun and relatively easy to start with, plus, you already have them...
If you decide youve got the bug, you can look in to modern kits later.

I will give it a go and see how it goes.got around 15 vintage a/c hope all the stickers still work, fingers crossed !!!

Welcome aboard - it's great to have you with us!.

If you're new to modelling, it might be wise to practise on a few modern kits before turning to your Dad's collection. I'd also check whether they are valuable before diving in - depending on how "vintage" they are, they could be collectors' items... Post pictures here if you're unsure.

Either way - do your Dad proud, and keep us up to date on your progress.

I certainly echo Johnathan's and Rowan's comments. As for the value of those kits, if they're from the early to mid 60's they most likely have a collector's value.
