EagleEditions has a book out on the 3 d-9's and the d-11. Has color schemes and markings. They also make a decal sheet. Hpe this helps. George

According to squadrons Fw-190D walk around book.. It depends on what type of canopy the plane has.. If it was the "flat" hood it was tensioned when open, if it was the "blown" type, when the canopy was open, the cable hung slack..

R-M makes a d-11. Tamiya makes a d-9 with JV-44 decals in the kit.. George

Accurate camo references differ, but most say the upper surfaces were
RLM75 Greyviolet and RLM83 Dark Green with some slight mottling of RLM81 Brownviolet around the tail and rear fuselage flanks.
Undersurfaces are probably RLM76 Light blue (blue/grey) or the red and white striped scheme.
Please note: There is a lot of confusion about RLM 82 Light green and RLM83 Dark green.
Quite often they are mixed up even by model manufacturers and decal companies.
You might try "Luftwaffe Fighter Aces and Aircraft" on the web for reference.
Good hunting
Peter :-)
