Does anyone know if there are decals available in 1/72 for the B-29 "Fever from the South"? My grandfather flew 35 missions in her during WWII as the ring gunner (top bubble in the rear fuselage) and I'd like to build a model for him.

Great idea! I am sure he will appreciate that. I have never heard of decals for that bird, but they might be out there.
You could also consider customs decals and/or custom masks. There are some companies that specialises in that stuff. Obviously more expensive, but not impossible at all.
