I have been thinking about this for a while, and since this is the first campaign idea I have had, I wanted to do something with plenty of variation, and since my family has a naval background, the FAA seemed like the perfect subject for a campaign.
When you think about it, there is a huge variety of aircraft that have served with the FAA over the years, here is a quick list that I have come up with off the top of my head:

This is not a complete list of types opperated by the Fleet Air Arm but it is every one I could think of off the top of my head - feel free to leave more suggestions below, and let me know what you think of this campaign idea - I guess that now it would have to run towards the end of this year - maybe early next year, probably a fair few months away anyway, but I think it will be great fun, and there should be plenty of variety in terms of build subjects!

This sounds interesting. I have a 1/48 Buccaneer and Sea Vixen that would fit just fine. Count me in.

Always wanted to build a Walrus, so this might be a good motivator.

Well provided we can get enough support for this campaign to get off the deck - I have finally narrowed down my options, I'm thinking a Fairy Firefly or a DeHavilland Sea Venom/Sea Hornet.
Now all we need is a few more people

Having seen the swordfish in the flesh a couple of times now, it never ceases to amaze me how big that old kite is, and how it remained in service right up until the end of the war!

Well depending on when this is due to run I'll be in I do however have two ship campaigns starting in August so the start date will be the deciding factor.

If the time is right I'll be in with either a Hunter GA.11, Hunter T.8M or Grob Tutor none shipbourne but all very much FAA aircraft
