Help! I am starting painting my 1/144 Su-25 aircraft. What do all of you advice using for my masking medium for the camo patterns? Also - any specific advice in doing this? Thanks

A lot of people have success using blue-tack. You can also use thin strips of masking tape, and fill in the middle with little scraps of tape. Another technique is to cut paper masks and tape them down with double-sided tape.

1:144 is getting close to watch repair, or micro-surgery. Masking the canopy is the most challenging task.

There is no avoiding cutting and sticking tiny pieces of masking tape.

Ive never used the blue-tac stuff, but the point remains the same, it's tiny work.
I dont know how old you are, maybe you can still read the date on a penny, but I will recommend magnification, 2.5x reading glasses at a minimum. You need good quality masking tape, Tamiya or equal, and a new #11 exacto blade.
