". . .Some people have complained about the colours of Eduard's fitted lozenge fabric decals. I have included two photos of the kit lozenge against some privately printed aftermarket lozenge which I got from one of the regulars at a Great War forum before their model forum collapsed a few years ago. The colours are indeed different, but not radically so, and I think that they would look convincing on the model. . ."
The set you have from the forum is 4 color lozenge. The set that goes with the kit is 5 color. They did not share the same color palete. See here.

Then I shall compare them to some aftermarket 5 colour. Standby while I get the photos arranged.

Now with photos in hand, I must retract my acceptance of the kit lozenge decals. It almost looks as though Eduard tried to use the 4 colour palate on the 5 colour pattern. The top isn't exactly horrible, looking more faded than anything else
But the bottom? Way too much mauve and not nearly enough green and yellow.
If you absolutely must use the kit lozenge, don't ever turn it over. But seriously, get some alternative decals. Seriously. Use the kit lozenge decal as patterns and then give them a decent burial at a crossroads with a stake through them.

Could not have said it any better.
