Eduards limited edtion kits are normally pretty good, with the plastic parts from other companies, with Eduard P.E and resin thrown in, along with some interesting marking options and decals printed by Cartograph. Eduards newest 1/48th release is a limited editon of the F-104G Starfighter, titled simply NATO fighter. Andy Brazier takes a look at the Hasegawa based kit.

Great to see this very good kit from Hasegawa getting the Eduard special treatment. The Dutch scheme looks fantastic.
Nice one Andy.

Thanks Tim,
Yeah the Dutch scheme is I feel the most interesting.
This is actually the second outing for Hasegawa's F-104G, as it was first released by Eduard as the Bundesfighter boxing.

The F-104 has always been on my have to do one day list, I just never seem to get around to actually buying one. But the Eduard limited edition offering I just may finally get one.

The Dutch "Zipper" - I recall watching them buzz a train hijacked by terrorists back in the late 1970s.
