I'm building DML's Super Hornet dual kit and I'd like some feedback. I've mostly completed the primary building and I'm painting it now. So far I've only put down the white for the gear wells.






I've always hated having to paint anything white or any shade of it. I've been told that putting down a base color if silver would help. I did that on the landing gear but I forgot to put it down in the Wells. I'd love to know if what I've done so far is ok. I brush painted all the white as well. I'm waiting on getting a 1/144 pilot to plop in the pit but no that I think of it, I could also make it with the canopy raised. I'm using this plane as basically a test bed as I plan to make the second one into a small diorama (eventually).
