this is a little bit weird but I did this Zombie bomber pilot just for fun and this is how he turned out.

wow, that very cool!
I use to love "Weird War Tales" comics, that could be a cover.

Doug,
Absolutely outstanding
The B-24 is incredibly well done for that vignette. Every area of it just looks the part of a wreck. But the bust figure is just in a class by itself. I know next to nothing about figures and figure painting, so for me it's all about how I see it. And I see it as just about perfect. The weathering and shading on the leather jacket, cap, and even the headphones is a real as it can possibly get. And the skull/face is just unreal.
Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

thanks for the kind words, to be honest I was a little worried that this would be taken the wrong way, it was just a fun project that popped into my brain.

What company makes that resin (I presume) zombie-pilot bust? Outstanding paintwork. It looks a bit cartoon-like, in a good way!

Hi Doug
That's simply stunning - and it should be a Frontpage Feature! If you took in-progress shots, a full article on how you built and painted it would be great. If not, definitely an On Display.
All the best

Very nice work indeed!
Is that zombie pilot bust from a kit or your own sculpt? Either way, awesome work! Reminds me a bit of Eddie.
