At the begining of the year merlin asked about a wishlist of aircraft that mainstream manufacturers could maybe produce. The wishlists posted are mainly military but what civil aircraft would you like to see and what scale.
For starters:-
DH88 Comet 1/32,1/48th
DH91 Albatross 1/72
Dh95 Flamingo 1/72
Vickers Viscount 1/72

I'd second a DH88, preferably 1/72 but I won't say no to a bigger scale.
1/144 Comet 2 and Tristar (but only because I could convert them to RAF types).
And I'd love a modern tooling of a Wallis Autogyro in at least 1/32 scale.

How about a 1/48 Ford Trimotor? Of course, I'd have to print "Lao Che Air Freight" decals for it!

A new one would be great seeing as the Airfix kit has been dropped for several years now. And I wouldn't mind the tri-motor version thinking about it.

I personally would love to see a few 1/48 or 1/32 Reno racers, I don't see many and the ones I've been able to find are usually classic racers in 1/72. but a 1/48 Precious Metal, Rare Bear, Voodoo or Strega would be cool with without having to scratch build or kitbash half the plane.

I have seen the ones from Fisher models in 1/32 but at almost $200 they're out of my price range and where my skills are now I wouldn't want to possibly ruin a beautiful and expensive kit. plus they are resin kits which I have no experience with right now

I'll second that plus some of the more modern GA aircraft. most of those seem to seriously lack detail and are rather scarce in modeling. I'd also love to see some bizness gets like citations, gulfstreams etc

Just thought of another few

1/48 Bristol Frieghter
1/48 Armstrong Whitworth Argosy (Civil)
1/48 Fokker F27
Same in 1/72 The Freighter and F27 are done by Airfix but really need an update.

Happy hunting

I'm really not a non-military aircraft modeler, but I do have one long time, sure wish that someone would release a 1/32 scale J-3 Cub. Why? Because my brother learned to fly in one, bought one, and I learned the basics of flying in it.

There's always the Bronco L-4 which differs from a Cub in the glazing. A conversion is not be terribly difficult, and mostly involves paint.
