G'day Friends!
I have a couple of questions. When I got the kit I discovered it came with canopy masks, to my delight. But I have more pieces than I know what to do with.

Please, what are the four tear-drop shaped masks (two indicated with red arrows)for
Gary
Those extra pieces are masks for the left and right wing formation lights.

Great build Gazza, love the result!
It's a bit late to chip in now, but with regard to the weathering wash, it pays to have a think about the theatre in which this Jug served. In the western pacific it is likely to have flown off crushed coral strips which produce a very fine white dust, so a pale beige wash would be appropriate rather than black or brown for the panel lines.
Cheers, D

Damian,
Thank you for the compliment and the tip. The whole Western PTO is the most incomplete area in my WW2 studies. Honestly, I seriously considered finding a decal set that would put my bird somewhere else....covered with kill markings, or something....lol. But eventually I reached that point where I wanted to build something else, so I decided to finish with what I had.
