While I get my breath back from the Isle of Wight Festival and refocus on picking up where I left off on the Wingnut Wings AEG G.IV, I can't resist starting a little "busman's holiday" in the shape of SBS Model's beautiful new 1:72 resin kit of the de Havilland DH.88 Comet:

Hi again

It's been really hectic at Oxfam the last few days, so I've not had much time to draw breath. I did manage a quick test-fit, though, and it's clear this is a real gem of a kit



It's even cast with locating pins on the fuselage (that line up perfectly!), so it looks set to be a great kit for newcomers to mixed-media models.
