Hi everyone. Not quite an airplane but very related. If it is the wrong place for posting, please accept my apologies. It is a 1/32 resin scale model of the turbine sled made by Romanian inventor Henri Coanda for Grand Duke Kiril Romanov (the cousin of the tsar Nicholas II). The sled was made after the construction of the first jet airplane, the Coanda 1910 airplane, exhibited at Paris AIrshow in October 1910. The Sled was exhibited in December 1910 at Salon de l'automobile Paris. The sled was designed for motor sled races, popular on that times. The kit is made from resin, had PE parts and brass wires. Is made by Eddie Models.

Hi Rowan! Thank you for your post! The kit was 3d designed by me and resin casting was made by a professional in that field. In the future, we want to take into consideration other subjects, especially related to Romanian aviation history (not very good represented by the kit manufacturers).
All the best!

What would be the postal fee to the US, or more specifically, zip code 42129? If I can, I'd like to order a kit around the 1st of next month.
Do you take paypal?

Hi Rowan! Many thanks!
The selling of the kit is not so good, but it is a situation that I've somehow predicted before. There is a small number of people interested for this machine even from Romanian modelers or aviation fans. The model is not of an airplane and the sled has not seen any combat .
This kit was not quite a good idea for starting a small business in production of kits models , but I am happy with my work, I made the name and works of Henri Coanda a little bit more known. At least, I know that this model will be never produced by companies such as Eduard, Hasegawa, Trumpeter, etc.
All the best!

I disagree a bit with this statement. It is a rare unique subject, small enough not to require huge investment, and raising a lot of eyebrows and attention.
This looks splendid, and i look forward to seeing more of such unique pieces
