I am building the Tamiya 1/48th Fw-190 A3 with the flat panel canopy....
I want to depict the canopy slid open - which brings me to my question...
With the canopy back, would the radio antenna have been tight, or slack, as it travels throught the back of the canopy on the way to the tail?
I have zero aircraft references (other than you guys :-) ) so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks-
Nelson

Lord Nelson,
If you look closedly there should be a pully thingy inside of the canopy that the antenna wire runs over it. So even if you sliding back the canopy, it's still tight.

Hi Nelson,
I believe SS-74 is right.
You might wander over to Bookies Fw 109 site:
www.fw109.hobbyvista.com
Plus there's many a reference of 109's throughout the web. You just might find ref pics.
Good luck
Peter
