Have any of you guys tried painting the Bf 109 in red before? I just finished mine and it looks great, hope to get some pictures posted soon.
Come to think of it, has anyone here painted any kits to their own preference and not historically accurate?

Hi ave,
no I havn't done single non-camo colour schemes. But it would be passable in Luft 46.
I have seen a Me 209 in deep glossy blue...looked the bizzz.
look forward to seeing it!
Cheers
Peter

Havent done this but considered a lot of times to built a regular theme and paint it with a Ferrari red , or a gloss black or something extreme . Think i should try , could also be a special effects campaign theme !!!!!

Well, that was the me 209 V1, the first prototype. HUMA has a good model of that plane in 1/72nd scale.
