Hi everyone!

Just a quick question about armament on Spitfire VIII, I've got an Eduard 1/48 kit, and it has outer machine gun ports filled, is this ok, or should they be drilled out. Info I found online says mk 8 had 2 cannons and 4 machine gun armament, and box art matches this. So, what is the correct configuration?

Thanks!

You can drill them out or leave them as they are, both are OK. The slightly raised rectangles over the machine gun ports depict the tape applied over the ports to prevent dirt and dust from getting in and to indicate if a machine gun failed to fire during a mission.
