Hi gang, Just about to finish Trumpeter`s 1/32nd Mig 17 and was wondering about the finish. I seem to remember reading somewhere that the Vietnamese polished their Migs to increases their speed.
Is this true ?, if so I can finish it in a high gloss to reflect this (no pun intended !)
Can someone confirm or deny this for me ?.

A semi-gloss finish would probably look more to scale. High gloss finishes all too often end up looking too "toy-like".
