Hi,

Being now in the painting stage of building an MPM "Battle of Britain" boxing of their BP Defiant, I've tried googling around, but haven't quite found a definitive answer to the question of the turret framing color. Should it be the same as the surrounding camo scheme, or black?

Some photos I've come across seem to show a similar color to the surrounding camo, while some have what seems to be a darker colored framing, which I'd presume to be black.

What do you RAF experts say?

Thanks in advance.

There doesn't appear to be consensus. It looks as though you could choose either option and be correct.

Thanks! If nothing else comes up until I start painting the turret, I think I'll lean towards black frames then.
