A very nice kit indeed, like the other airfield vehicle(s) Airfix is bringing us in 1/48. Keep these coming please;-)

The two questions I have are:

Would this vehicle still be in use in 1944/45, like on captured german airfields after D-day? There are not that many photo's, and all of them seem to be in the UK early in the war.

What other paint schemes would be correct for an active RAF vehicle? The Airfix scheme very specifically puts it in 1940...but if this machine kept on serving it would have had several changes, or maybe not...

By 1944-45 I think the Albion had been replaced by more modern trucks - it was a 1935 design. I know the larger Matador tankers went to France, not sure about the smaller Bedford QLs

That's the QL. I was thinking more like the ones on this page - they were definitely used in France
