Hi shonen_red I can help with the Zero Model 52. Tamiya makes the best one out there #60309 1/32". But a little expensive about $90.00. And the Corsair F4U -1D or F4U-4 from Trumpeter are pretty good #02221, and #02222, respectively. 1/32" for about $53.00 each.
Have Fun!

Hi,

For the SBD, go to ebay. There are alsways many Matchbox/Revell kits, either 132 or 1/24th, I don't recall. That's where I found one for a decent price.

Matchbox is 1/32, and ,IIRC, is being re-boxed by Revell-Germany.>

I heard Trumpy's Zero is a good one. True? It says it has PE included.

If you are speaking of Trumpeter's 1/24" Zero. From what I have read there is no comparison between the two besides the scale. Tamiya's 1/32" Zero, for accuracy and quality of fit, is the best hand's down!!
But if you like your model building to be challenging, or if price is an issue by all means, go for the Trumpeter kit.
Happy Modeling!

Hi,
I definately recommend the Tamiya 1/32 Zero. I just bought one and the kit is fabulous!!
Look on ebay and you might be able to get one at a decent price. I got mine 'Buy it Now' for $65.
That is still a little pricey for a model kit but is one heck of a lot better than the $80 to $90 price most places sell it for.

Good modeling,
Wayne

Mabuhay!
basically, in our country we have those scales
Zero Fighter-Tamiya 1/32
BF-109E3, BF-109E4- not so sure, i think at makati park square 1, they have them
spitfire Mk1, Spitfire Mk2- i think i saw a month ago a revell spitfire, or i might be mistaken
SBD's (1-6)- revell produced an SBD 5E, I actually have one
Corsairs especially F4U-of course, trumpeter. revell also has one but i think trumpeter's better!

that's it, a run down on what's available in our small island!
